Longing

I mummy stumbled in a dummy fall
Scratched my name on a narrow wall

Wound down like a toy out of the box
A rabbit caught fair and eaten by the fox

Rubber banded my love to never rest
Years go by before feeling less

Of the total darkness exposed in a soul
When a heart beats in two to one whole

Beneath the lonesome shy smile
All is discovered after a while

Eyes sparked in dark waiting desire
Enshrined like globes of eternal fire

Of bloodied knees begging mercy
Knowing how it hurts me

Between my new ray of sunshine
In longing of a space and time
