Doubt

In my breath was a glance,
At the abandoned human dance,
Of gentlemen and lady like,
In such a dark bright.

A single homeless one,
A hungry child tears run,
A mother knows not what to do,
In the survival of these many few.

Casual remarks slice deep wounds,
Flinches of pain like poison blooms,
Scars from never can tell that they are there.
Hiding fear and doubt in this sea of disrepair,

I am touching back the face of humanity,
I am instilling the thought of future legacy,
I am shouldering the toil,
On the arrangement of common soil.

Locking my arms holding one over lay,
Building mounds of common ground this way,
To fill rainbow colored skies with children’s smiles,
In loving the doubt and fear away……….

Dirt

In a searching of afar,
Makes one a wondering star,
In the wonderings why,
If the top is really sky,

See the bottoms up,
In the beginning of luck,
The lines a day off start,
Searching blind in the dark.

My journey long the wicked,
My walk amongst the saints,
My paper my brush,
My pen my paint.

Towing my row of dirt today,
That sweet soft spot where I intend to lay,
A song softly played alone,
Among my broken trees of stone,

Write I will on this wall,
In the epitaph of my call,
In the beginning of the end,
I have come around once again……….
