Spoke

I went out and spoke into the other side of me,
I looked in at what others are afraid to see,
Windows of scars deep and jagged,
Wounds covered over years of habit,
Scabs peeled back open to ooze,
Filled them in with drugs, woman and booze,
Covered them up and licked em shut,
Daylight through dark got me in a rut,
Running through dances with heels on my feet,
In between naps is when I creep,
Along the corridors of mine,
Through the doors of my time,
From my birth Ive been walking here,
Alone raging and ranting in fear,
Wrapping it on down,
To the basic conversation,
Where ya goin kid?
The paths are wide open,
The doors are closing,
Don’t you want to come in?

Drag me on,
Drag me long,
Drag my own,
Drag me on down,
Drag me a smoke,
Take me around,
Take me a toke,
Pull me up,
Run my spout,
Walk me about,
Turn me out,
Drag it along,
Drag it clear,
Drag afar,
Pull a tear,
Hold a fear,
Dragging this load,
On down the road,
My shoulders on over load,
Dragging behind,
Dragon I’ll find,
To kill in kind,,

Paint Job

Adjacent road of memory triggers faulty,
A map of tranquility in the flow of reality,
Where a junction should be connecting moon at midnight,
Rolling soft a cold breeze covers the night,
In the lane of spirit flight held by the tether,
A welded feather pulls in stillness.
Obscurity imploded with a pace,
Space filled lines of mind trip molded,
A glimpse at the end would start to begin,
Streaming flashing lights of color,
Splatter internal walls of Fennigan……….
